1. Warm-up Question

날씨 상황에 따라 실내/실외 활동할 수 있는 Activity를 이야기 합니다.

Q. What might your weekend plans look like if this was the forecast?

2. Language Practice

1) Doing things together

-I want to watch a ball game on TV.

2) Talking about plans

5. Slang & Idioms

1) Make a day of it

-to devote a whole day to an activity (특별히 즐거운 일을) 하루 종일 하다.

-I was thinking we could drive to town, do some shopping you know, make a day of it.

 

2) Hang out

-to spend time relaxing or enjoying oneself (~에서) 많은 시간을 보내다.

-Do you have time to hang out on Saturday?

 

3) Grabbing a coffee

-to meet to drink coffee (커피 한잔하다)

-I don’t have plans. How about grabbing a coffee?

 

4) Tag along

-to join a planned activity when not invited (곁다리, 꼽사리 끼다)

-I was thinking of going to that exhibit, too. Do you mind if I tag along?

 

5) Short notice

-with little advance warning or time to prepare. (갑작스런 통지)

-It’s kind of short notice, but James and I are going to a movie at 2. Want to come? (갑작스럽긴 하지만)
